Converse Century Collection

The venerable shoe company Converse may be a part of Nike’s clothing empire but it still recognizes its own history. For the autumn season, Converse and Nike have released the Converse Century pack to recognize the origins of the All Star, the Pro Leather and the All Star Revolution. Over 100 years, Converse has gone from producing simple canvas shoes with gum soles to producing a legend for millions of sneaker lovers.
The Converse Century pack features a pair of All Stars, Pro Leathers and All Star Revolutions with distressed leather designed to make the shoes appear well worn. Converse lovers can keep their new purchase preserved with a stylish slide-top wooden box that matches the color of the distressed leather. Your budget may make for a tough decision when you find the Converse Century pack available in your town in November. You have to realize that these are limited editions and there is only one 100th anniversary of a legend. If you are going to buy a single pack of shoes, I would go with the Converse Century pack.

CONVERSE ANNOUNCES

ADS FOR THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE
The theory behind the latest Converse ad campaign is almost as exciting and innovative as the ads themselves. With a large advertising budget, Converse has chosen not to hire the traditional advertising execs to create their new advertisements, but instead are putting their money towards challenging unknown talent and their own customers. Converse encourages their fans to make their own 24-second films (not commercials) and define what Converse means to them. The only requirement is that they must be apolitical, positive, original and inspiring. Ten winners take home $10,000 each and their films are televised on MTV starting in March as Converse’s official advertisements. Four additional winners receive $1000 each and their films are included on Converse’s popular website. Please click on the below link to view this season’s winning films as well as a preview of Converse’s April and May print
Turning a new leaf...literally...only eating salads these days.
Where have I been and what have I been doing? PR always, but I also took some time to really enjoy NYC, my friends, solo time and an island getaway with my road-dog "Ms.T"
I'm also (openly) announcing my new fitness regimen and tracking its progress on the bloggie. I'll be going green this summer. Trying to stick to only veggies and healthy crap. So wish me luck!
As a goodbye treat to the greatness that is a cheeseburger accompanied by drunken french fries...I leave you with a photographic journey titled "What I ate while on Vacation"
